APRIL 2026

CRIMSON JOURNALISM SUMMIT

The Harvard Crimson's CJS is a two-day event for high school reporters of all experience levels. Participants will engage in workshops, simulations, and seminars led by Crimson Editors and Executives across our content boards. Besides learning from experienced college journalists, students will also have the chance to interact with professional journalists from top publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and more.

SUMMER JOURNALISM ACADEMY

The Harvard Crimson's SJA offers high school students an amazing opportunity to learn from current Crimson staff and get acquainted with media and media-adjacent fields. SJA aims to teach high school students the fundamentals of journalism—reporting practices, writing articles, the non-content aspects of running a newspaper—while providing insight on college journalism through current Crimson editors.

THE HARVARD CRIMSON BUSINESS COMPETITION

This startup-style contest is tailor-made to cultivate the next generation of problem solvers. Participants will engage in two rigorous rounds—a preliminary round (virtual submissions) followed by a championship round held in-person at The Crimson. Those who qualify for the Championship Round will have an opportunity to be mentored by industry professionals and members of The Harvard Crimson's esteemed business board, offering a platform to test and refine one’s business acumen.
